Marc Fraser

Marc Fraser is a professional Industrial Designer and holds memberships of the Design Institute of Australia and the Society of Plastics Engineers.

He has worked as a consulting designer for large and small companies including Clipsal Integrated Systems, SCA Hygiene Australasia, Huhtamaki, PZ Cussons, Blackmagic Design and Demain International.

In early 2013, the Design Institute of Australia awarded Marc the status of “Accredited Designer” to recognise his commitment to continual learning and professional development.

Marc has made significant contributions to over 1000 development programs in his professional career since 1997, including work on power tools, electronic devices, whitegoods, theatre seating, personal care, packaging and industrial equipment. He has extensive experience in creative concept development, product illustration and visualisation, 3D Computer-Aided Design, rapid-prototyping and design for large & small volume production programs.

Marc holds tertiary qualifications in industrial design and professional management.

His design contributions have been recognised numerous times in Australian and international design award events, including an Australian Design Award in 2002 for the Demain Angle Grinder, and an Australian Packaging Silver Award in 2006 for ICB’s Hygiene Plus Spray Cleaner bottle.

In 2007 Marc established his own Strategic Product Development and Industrial Design studio. With a strong emphasis on creative problem solving, extensive technical design experience and the latest in design tools and collaboration technologies, he aims to provide Australian and International manufacturing, marketing and technology organisations with a comprehensive, competent and fresh alternative for their product development and design needs.
